Former Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Koijee Earns Master’s Degree from Israel’s Prestigious Reichman University

HERZLIYA, ISRAEL – June 9, 2026-Hundreds of supporters, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate as former Monrovia City Mayor, former Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Youth League Chairman, and current CDC Secretary General Jefferson T. Koijee graduated from Reichman University in Israel with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Government, specializing in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security Studies.
The achievement marks a significant academic milestone for Koijee, who has been one of Liberia’s prominent political figures over the past decade. Supporters described the graduation as a reflection of his commitment to education, leadership, and personal development.
Koijee received his degree from Reichman University,one of Israel’s most prestigious private universities, educating students from more than 90 countries around the world,Located in Herzliya along Israel’s Mediterranean coast, the institution is widely recognized for its excellence in government, diplomacy, law, business, entrepreneurship, communications, and public policy.
Founded in 1994 as the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya by Professor Uriel Reichman, the institution became Israel’s first private university in 2021 and was subsequently renamed Reichman University. Since then, it has earned a reputation as a leading academic institution attracting students from across the globe.
